General Election under-way!

The General Election campaigning is now under-way and it is set to be a bumper year for the English Democrats. Already having nearly 100 candidates, we are close to our target of 120, however we still need your support! The average cost to stand is £2000 per constituency; all of this money is being provided by our hard working volunteer candidates!

However, if you can spare any amount to lessen the pressure on our candidates, then please feel free to donate to the English Democrats by clicking on the 'donate' button below. (please note you must be 18 or over to donate to a political party and statutory rules apply.)

English Democrats - National Youth Council

Members of the English Democrats under the age of 26 are now eledgible to apply to help form a National Youth Council. Positions available are Regional Chairmen and other necessary positions. We are hoping to have the Council established by late November and to have its first meeting before the year end in preparation for the General Election.

Welcome to the Young English Democrats' Website!

The Young English Democrats (YED) was designed and constructed by a team of workers from inside and outside of the party from places across England. The English Democrats (EngDems) think that the youth of today are undervalued by the older and supposedly 'wiser' politicians, and the EngDems see this project as a golden opportunity for the English youth to get themselves heard at last. Here at the YED, we know that no matter how much you try to space yourself away from the fact that politics is your future, that the more that you ignore this fact, then the less well treated you will be in that future.

English society has become ignorant and unfaithful to its youth, and successive governments' failure to make reasonable and well informed decisions are threatening our future in a cohesive society. Ever more increasingly, school leavers are entering the world without a clue how the real world works, this is wrong!
Over 1,000,000 English University students and ex-students are burdened by thousands of pounds worth of debt, Scottish students get University education FREE - so should English Graduates, the English Democrats can solve this problem.

The English Democrats believe that current politicians have no idea what is happening in this country, they are all tucked up in their publically funded homes, all the while millions of young people are in need of a life line. Society is falling apart, the recession is biting at people's pockets, and crime is on the increase. Yet the generation in power continues to reap all the benefits whilst failing to make fair provision for those who follow.

Our Mission

The YED is the official youth section of the English Democrats Party and they are classed as a single political entity together.
The Young English Democrats are a group of people aged between 16 - 25 years old who believe that England deserves a Parliament and equal rights as the Scottish counter-part citizens. The Young English Democrats group, aims to make all of England's young people know of the unfair treatment that the English have to put up with in their own nation! We also seek that English Democrats Party youth policy is implemented in EngDem policy and that the Youth of England have representation through the English Democrats'.
